Cuba's fuel depot fire extinguished

Matanzas [Cuba], August 13: Cuban, Venezuelan and Mexican firefighters extinguished the massive fire at a fuel storage facility in the western Cuban province of Matanzas, the Cuban government said Friday.
According to the Cuban Ministry of Public Health, at least two people have been confirmed dead, 130 people have been treated in medical facilities after the large-scale fire, and 14 others are still missing.
So far, four dead bodies have emerged from the fire scene, local media reported.
According to official data, some 5,000 residents were evacuated from the area.
The fire started when a tank at the fuel farm near the port of Matanzas was engulfed in a huge blaze following a lightning strike at 7:00 p.m. local time on Aug. 5, reaching a second tank the next morning and triggering a series of explosions.
