Pakistani central bank unveils 75 rupee commemorative banknote

Islamabad [Pakistan], August 15: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Sunday unveiled a 75 rupee commemorative banknote to mark the 75 years of Pakistan's independence.
The banknote was launched on the anniversary day of Pakistan in a ceremony held at the SBP Museum in the country's southern port city of Karachi, the SBP said in a statement.
The 75 rupee commemorative banknote is the second such banknote issued by the SBP, the statement said.
The SBP issued the first commemorative banknote in 1997 to mark the 50 years of the country's independence, it added.
