Smuggler's van overturns in Austria, killing 3

Vienna [Austria], August 14: Three people were killed on Saturday after a van smuggling 20 migrants overturned near the Austrian town of Kittsee, local police said.The victims, two men and a woman, were passengers on the van. Another seven passengers were seriously injured and have been hospitalized, according to local police.The accident happened when the driver of the van tried to evade a police check at a border crossing, reported the Austrian news agency APA.The identities and countries of origin of the migrants were not yet known, according to APA report.The driver has been arrested and is under investigation.Source: Xinhua
