Team captain Steve Smith praised all-rounder Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson for their “magnificent” partnership. “I thought our performance was outstanding. It was probably on the small parts of the game. Tonight our batting was sensation. Sanju and Stokes partnership is magnificent. That’s what we have been crying out for from our experienced players. Those guys did it tonight,” said skipper Smith. Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson steered Rajasthan Royals to a comprehensive eight-wicket win over Mumbai Indians at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
