Chinese FM meets with Nepalese ambassador

Beijing (China) Oct 23: Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday met with Nepalese Ambassador to China Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, who is leaving office.
Hailing Pandey's positive contributions to the friendship between China and Nepal, Wang said both sides should work together to achieve new progress in bilateral ties and maintain regional peace, stability and prosperity.
Pandey said he had witnessed China's success in combating the COVID-19 pandemic and achievements in economic and social development during his tenure.
Wang said China is willing to share experience and strengthen exchanges with countries including Nepal.
