Syrian President makes phone call with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince

Damascus (Syria), October 21: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday made a phone call with Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to the state news agency SANA.
Assad and al-Nahyan discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost mutual interests of both peoples.
Discussions also tackled the latest developments on regional and international arena, the report said.
This phone call came as the relations between the UAE and Syria has dramatically improved recently, particularly after the UAE reopened its embassy in Syria in 2018.
The UAE has also facilitated the visa procedures for Syrians who want to visit Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
