UN to issue stamp sheet for Chinese Lunar New Year

United Nations, January 21: The United Nations Postal Administration (UNPA) will issue a special-event stamp sheet to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
The stamp sheet, which is scheduled for issuance on Friday, consists of 10 stamps of a denomination of 1.20 U.S. dollars each, with the UN logo on the left and a paper-cut image of an ox on the right, as the Chinese lunar year for 2021 is the Year of the Ox.
This is the 12th sheet issued for UNPA's Lunar New Year stamp series, which completes the entire Chinese zodiac cycle.
The tabs of the stamps and background design feature artwork by Wang Huming of China, said UNPA. The sheet can be personalized.
The Chinese Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, is the most important holiday for Chinese around the world. This year's Spring Festival falls on Feb. 12.
