Gaza Border [Israel], November 27: Gaza's civil defence agency said 22 people were killed in Israeli air strikes and shelling of the war-battered Palestinian territory.
At least 11 Palestinians were killed and more than 40 injured in an Israeli attack that targeted al-Hurriya School, which houses thousands of displaced people.
In the northern city of Jabalia, seven people were killed and several wounded in an air strike on a residential building. Another person was killed in the bombing of a house in nearby Beit Lahiya.
Two people were killed in the shelling of Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
In the southern city of Rafah, an air strike killed one person and wounded several others.
Meanwhile, Kamal Adwan Hospital director Dr Hussam Abu Safiyeh, who was among several medical staff injured by an Israeli drone strike on the facility on Saturday, has returned to work.
"This is an honour for me to be injured in this place," said the director. "My blood isn't any better or more precious than the blood of my staff and the rest of our people.
"This will not stop us from continuing our humanitarian work." (Agencies)
