Buenos Aires [Argentina], December 18: At least 13 people were killed in a violent storm on Argentina's Atlantic coast, Bahía Blanca Mayor Federico Susbielles said on social media platform X late on Saturday.
All 13 victims had been attending a skate festival at a gym when the building's roof collapsed, newspaper La Nacion reported. Other participants sustained injuries and were admitted to hospital, according to the report.
Mayor Susbielles called on the population "to take protective measures and not to use public roads" in light of the persisting storm and flooding.
