Gold steady at $4,146.66; other precious metals fall

Washington Dc [US], October 1: Gold prices were largely steady in early Asian trading on Thursday.
Spot gold was slightly changed at US$4,146.66 per ounce as of 0027 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.3 percent to $4,177.
Among other precious metals, spot silver fell 0.4 percent to $60.17 per ounce, platinum slipped 0.1 percent to $1,704.95, while palladium declined 0.4 percent to $1,200.85.
