Highway crash kills 4, injures over 30 in Bolivia

La Paz [Bolivia], April 2: Four people were killed and about 36 others injured when a passenger bus plunged off the road after colliding with another vehicle on a highway in southern Bolivia, local police said Monday.
The accident occurred Sunday night near the town of Yotala in the southern department of Chuquisaca, said the police. The dead included three women and a man.
The bus, operated by the Transtin Dil Rey company, landed on its right side after plunging about 30 meters, while the dark grey-colored vehicle remained on the highway.
Authorities said they are investigating the cause of the incident, believing that one of the vehicles entered the lane of the other's when they were travelling in opposite directions.
