Sharing from Hoa Minzy
In the post, Hoa Minzy shared that she only has the personal page Hoa Nguyen and the Hoa Minzy fanpage - both of which have blue verification badges and regularly interact with her audience. "All other pages/groups like the ones in the image below are fake and fraudulent. Hoa's audience should be very cautious and careful."
In the comments section, many netizens expressed their outrage at the fact that some unscrupulous individuals were exploiting Hoa Minzy's popularity and the trust of her fans for personal gain. Some opinions hoped that the singer of " Can't Be Together Forever " would take more decisive action against this situation to deter such behavior and prevent unnecessary negative consequences.
Hoa Minzy is not the first artist to be impersonated by malicious individuals for profit. Previously, many Vietnamese celebrities such as Ngo Thanh Vân, Lý Hải, Lại Văn Sâm. have spoken out about numerous cases where online stores of unknown origin used their images, videos, and artificial intelligence technology to create fake advertisements and sell products. A few days ago, Ngo Thanh Vân stated that she is actively working with relevant parties to address these violations.
According to lawyer Ha Thi Kim Lien (Phan Law Vietnam Law Office - Hanoi Branch), when discovering that someone is using one's personal images to create social media accounts for the purpose of committing illegal acts, individuals should promptly notify and correct the information to prevent and minimize potential damage; contact a bailiff to create a record documenting the ongoing violation; and request the competent state agency to resolve the matter through legal sanctions depending on the nature and severity of the violation.
