Hospital attack amounts to genocide: Erdoga

Istanbul [Turkey], October 19: Turkish President RecepTayyip Erdogan condemns Tuesday's blast at a hospital in the Gaza Strip which reportedly killed scores of civilians as "genocide," without naming any culprits.
"Yesterday, the massacre in Gaza escalated into another dimension with the heinous attack on Al Ahli Arab Hospital," Erdogan writes on social media platform X.
"I condemn the perpetrators of this attack, which constitutes a crime against humanity and amounts to genocide against the people of Gaza," the Turkish leader adds.
His remarks come hours after a party spokesman said Ankara would call for a 3-day national mourning to condemn the hospital attack.
