Illegal cannabis greenhouse dismantled at Bulgaria's seaside resort

Sofia [Bulgaria], January 11: The Bulgarian authorities have shut down an illegal cannabis production greenhouse and arrested one suspect, the Prosecutor's Office said in a statement on Friday.
Located in three specially adapted premises in a villa area of the Sveti Vlas resort on the Black Sea coast, the facility was furnished with high-tech heaters, irrigation systems, fans and humidifiers, as well as fertilizers.
During Thursday's operation, nearly 400 cannabis plants and over four kg of dry cannabis were seized, the statement said, adding that this has been the largest drug greenhouse dismantled in the region over the past 10 years.
A probe into the greenhouse was launched six months ago, and according to initial results, the narcotic substance produced there was intended for export.
The Prosecutor's Office estimated the value of the seized cannabis on the black market to be more than 1 million BGN
