Israel denies entry to group of left-wing French politicians

Jerusalem [Israel], April 22: Israel has refused to allow a group of left-wing French politicians to enter the country, officials confirmed to DPA on Monday.
A spokeswoman for the immigration authorities said that visas previously issued to 27 French politicians had been withdrawn. According to the spokeswoman, the politicians had been looking to enter the country to support Palestinians as well as a group campaigning for a boycott of Israel. The interior minister had decided to cancel the entry permits before the politicians departed for Israel.
