Israel reduced number of aid trucks entering Gaza to 30 per day during October: UNRWA

Gaza [Palestine], November 6: Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Work Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), announced today that Israel has reduced the number of aid trucks allowed to enter the Gaza Strip to just 30 trucks per day during October.
In a statement, Lazzarini explained that this amount of aid cannot meet the needs of more than two million people in Gaza, most of whom are suffering from hunger, illness, and desperate conditions.
He pointed out that this aid represents only 6 percent of the humanitarian supplies that were entering Gaza before the war.
