Feb 11, 2026

Hanoi [Vietnam], February 11: The fact that content creator Khoa Pug declared he was "bankrupt" in a video he posted has left many people confused.
On the evening of February 10th, Khoa Pug attracted attention when he posted a short video on his personal YouTube channel (which has 4.77 million subscribers), announcing his current situation. The content creator began with the statement: "I've failed, guys. In this video, I just want to let you know that I'm bankrupt."
Reasons why Khoa Pug declared bankruptcy.
According to Khoa Pug, he has repeatedly invested but failed. Currently, the content creator says he is almost "penniless." He added: "This video isn't for me to complain or ask for money. Mainly, I want to give you some advice at the end of the year. In the new year, when you young people earn money, I hope you will try to save and be thrifty."
Drawing from his own experience, Khoa Pug quoted an old saying: "Every little bit helps," and expressed his view that "saving is more important than making money." He said that due to youthful impulsiveness, he ended up "penniless." "Now all I have left is the love of my friends," the 9X creator said.
Khoa Pug's post quickly garnered attention. Known for his enviable luxurious lifestyle, the content creator's declaration of being penniless left netizens bewildered. In the comments section, many offered encouragement, hoping Khoa Pug would recover from this setback. However, some netizens also expressed skepticism about its authenticity, suggesting it might be a trick for a video he's working on.
Khoa Pug, whose real name is Nguyen Anh Khoa, was born in 1992 and is widely known for his travel and food videos shared on social media. However, his creative work has also faced some criticism. For example, a few years ago, his video "Japanese women kneel and cry begging for the cameraman to be allowed to eat - Khoa Pug encounters a problem at Geisha Kyoto hot pot restaurant" sparked controversy for its perceived lack of authenticity and misogyny.
However, when looking at the videos Khoa Pug posts, many people are overwhelmed by the wealth of this content creator. For his part, he once made a noteworthy post revealing that he had experienced poverty, lived in rented rooms, ate instant noodles every day, and at one point didn't even have 10,000 VND to buy a bowl of noodle soup. He added: "I'm not rich, it's just that I review new and interesting things, so people think that way. My personality is like, I earn 10 and spend 11, like I'll think about it tomorrow."
