Moscow promises US 'repercussions' for Ukraine's attack on Sevastopol

Jun 25, 2024

Moscow [Russia], June 25: The Russian government said the United States bears responsibility for a Ukrainian attack on the Russian-annexed Crimean Peninsula that left four people dead and more than 150 people injured and promised there would be "repercussions." "We've seen an absolutely barbaric missile attack in Crimea,"
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, according to the TASS news agency. "We understand perfectly well who is behind it, who targets these technically sophisticated missiles. It is not the Ukrainians who provide for these launches."
"Naturally, the US' direct involvement in combat which resulted in Russian civilians dying cannot go without any repercussions. Time will tell which ones precisely." The Russian Foreign Ministry also summoned the US ambassador to Moscow, Lynne Tracy, following the attack on the Crimean city of Sevastopol on Sunday.

Women Entrepreneurs Are Entering Sectors Once Dominated by Men: Tide Insights

New Delhi [India], January 8: India is witnessing a decisive shift in the way women participate in entrepreneurship, with rising numbers of young women from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities entering sectors traditionally seen as male-dominated -- from device repair to accounting and compliance services, according to new internal data released by Tide1, the UK's leading business management platform. Women between 27 and 31 years old form a significant share of new business owners on the Tide platform, reflecting India's broader working-age population profile. With over 180,000 women entrepreneurs, women currently account for 18.7% of Tide's India member base. This age cohort represents India's largest demographic segment and is increasingly visible on digital business platforms -- as part of a wider formalisation shift among women choosing entrepreneurship as a viable and structured livelihood pathway.
