Myanmar reports 94 new COVID-19 cases

Yangon [Myanmar],September 2: Myanmar has confirmed 94 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the tally to 615,315, according to the country's ministry of health on Thursday.
The health ministry said in a statement that the cases included six infected people who returned from abroad.
The death toll from COVID-19 in the country reached 19,439 on Thursday as one new death was reported, the ministry said. The total number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country reached 593,652, including 37 new recoveries on Thursday.
The Southeast Asian country detected its first COVID-19 cases in March 2020.
