Kathmandu [Nepal], October 2: Rescuers have recovered eight more bodies from the site of an avalanche that struck a base camp in the Nepalese part of the Himalayas, bringing the death toll to 15 people, an association of Nepali mountain guides said on Thursday.
A representative of the Nepal National Mountain Guide Association (NNMGA) involved in the operation told DPA that "our team are still there to search for one more person who remains missing."
