Another 26 people were injured, some of them seriously, Sahin said earlier. The bus was travelling too fast when it veered off the wet road, he said.
Images aired by TRT showed a toppled bus on the side of the road, while emergency forces are securing the scene. The bus was travelling from western Turkey to Antalya, a region popular with tourists.
