Over 950 dead in Pakistan floods

Islamabad [Pakistan], September 16: The death toll from heavy rains and flash floods in Pakistan since June 26 has risen to 972, with 1,062 injured.
According to the latest figures from the National Disaster Management Authority, at least 972 people, including 266 children, 547 men, and 159 women, have died in flood-hit areas in incidents related to heavy rains and flash floods.
Rains and floods also damaged 8,481 homes.
