Passenger bus crash in Afghan capital kills 25, injures 27: Media reports

Islamabad [Pakistan], August 28: At least 25 people have died in Kabul, Afghanistan's capital, after a passenger bus veered off the road and overturned into a valley, according to Afghan media reports on Wednesday.
Another 27 people were injured in the incident, which occurred overnight in the Arghandi area of Kabul city, the country's interior ministry spokesman Abdul Mateen Qani said.
The accident was caused by the driver's negligence, the spokesman added. Last week, in another deadly traffic accident in the country's western province of Herat, at least 78 people, including 17 children, died after a passenger bus collided with a motorbike and a truck before catching fire. (DPA)
