People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi pursues a PhD and enjoys a fulfilling marriage at age 55.

Hanoi [Vietnam], March 18: At 55 years old, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi is admired by many for her radiant appearance and fulfilling family life with her businessman husband.
Balancing her stage career with her family life, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi is also busy pursuing her doctoral studies. Sharing with us, the actress from "Stepmother" revealed that she plans to complete her research within 3-4 years. This allows her to still manage her schedule to work on many new projects.
"When I decided to pursue a PhD , I had to carefully consider how I could still actively work and contribute to the theater and film industry. I only decided to study after everything was in order," she shared.
According to the theater executive, balancing work and study helps her complete her research more effectively. People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi's decision also received support from her partner. Her businessman husband even encouraged her, seeing it as a way for the artist to gain more knowledge. "My husband has always supported me in my career and studies. Without him, it would have been difficult for me to achieve the results I have today," Trinh Kim Chi said.
Trinh Kim Chi's peaceful life
Speaking of Trinh Kim Chi's married life, many viewers admire the expensive gifts her husband frequently gives her on special occasions. According to the theater producer, she used to want to show it off to everyone. But now, the actress from the 70s generation chooses to keep it to herself.
She further revealed: "My husband always remembers holidays, not only giving gifts to me but also to our children. That's my happiness." For the actress, her businessman husband is understanding, thoughtful, and not afraid to express his feelings in their married life.
Before gaining popularity through her acting roles, Trinh Kim Chi was known as the first runner-up in the Miss Vietnam pageant. For the actress from the film "Stepmother ," that title is a beautiful memory in her career. However, currently, the theater producer wants people to remember her primarily as an artist.
She explained: "Sometimes when I go out, my friends are surprised and say, 'Back then, Chi was a runner-up in a beauty pageant.' But that was in the past. Now, I want people to call me an artist because I'm completely dedicated to my profession, giving it my all."
As a public figure, Trinh Kim Chi is always conscious of the need to be well-groomed and maintain a beautiful appearance when going out. She jokingly says that she feels happy whenever she receives compliments like "you don't look as beautiful in the movies as you do in real life."
"I also don't let myself get too stressed, because that affects my appearance. At some point, if I need to use methods to maintain my appearance and preserve my family's happiness, I will. Every woman must know how to love herself and be confident in life to achieve success," Trinh Kim Chi stated.
At 55, Trinh Kim Chi lives a simple life. She believes that everything she does is aimed at creating peace for herself and her family. "For example, I continue my studies, contribute to society, and do charitable work. My role at the Theater Association is to care for elderly artists in difficult circumstances. That's something I really want to do, even if I'm not assigned that task. That's also my joy and happiness right now," the theater manager confided.
