PSG suffer injury blow as Hakimi ruled out of Munich second leg

Apr 30, 2026

London [UK], April 30: Achraf Hakimi will miss the second leg of Paris Saint-Germain's blockbuster Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
PSG edged a thriller 5-4 against their German opponents at Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, but were reduced to 10 men late in the game after right-back Hakimi was forced off with an injury.
He was hurt in a collision with Konrad Laimer and was not fit enough to see the game through, despite his side having no further substitution windows available.
A brief statement from the Ligue 1 side has confirmed 27-year-old will not be back in time to take his place in the return match at the Allianz Arena next Wednesday.
"Achraf Hakimi, who suffered a right thigh injury during the match against Bayern Munich, will remain in treatment in the coming weeks," it read.
PSG also confirmed that back-up goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier has a similar complaint and is also on the sidelines, leaving Renato Marin to act as cover for number one Matvey Safonov.
The experienced Hakimi chipped in with an assist on Tuesday, setting up Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to put his side 4-2 ahead in the end-to-end clash.
