Sheikh Joaan meets Doha 2030 Asian Games Organizing Committee delegation

Doha [Qatar], September 29: H.E. Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia, on Monday met with a delegation from the Doha 2030 Asian Games Organizing Committee, which is taking part in the Observer Programme. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 20th Asian Games, Aichi-Nagoya 2026. The meeting was attended by H.E. Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain, CEO of the Doha 2030 Asian Games Organizing Committee, and other delegation members participating in the programme. During the meeting, H.E. Sheikh Joaan was briefed on the Doha 2030 delegation's participation in the Observer Programme, which offers an opportunity to learn about the organizational and operational aspects of the current Games and gain practical insights and experience in organizing the Asian Games.
