Nov 11, 2025

Washington DC [US], November 11: Six men have been killed in further US military action against suspected drug smugglers, the Pentagon said on Monday.
US armed forces attacked two vessels loaded with narcotics in international waters in the eastern Pacific, said Pete Hegseth, who recently appointed himself Secretary of War.
Hegseth posted a video on X showing two boats being fired upon and bursting into flames. According to the top defence official, they belonged to a group classified by the US as a terrorist organisation and were travelling along a known drug route.
US forces in recent weeks attacked boats allegedly carrying drugs in the Caribbean and the Pacific, reportedly causing multiple deaths in the process.
