Trump calls Zelensky a 'dictator'

Feb 20, 2025

New York [US], February 20: US President Donald Trump continued to round on Volodymyr Zelensky, calling the Ukrainian president "a dictator" in comments on Trump's Truth Social platform on Wednesday.
"A Dictator without Elections, Zelensky better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
"In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only 'TRUMP,' and the Trump Administration, can do," the president asserted.
Trump had claimed on the campaign trail that he could end the Ukraine conflict within 24 hours of taking office.
"Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelensky probably wants to keep the 'gravy train' going," Trump added.
"I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died." Trump also claimed that Zelensky has a very low approval rating. (DPA)
