Hanoi [Vietnam], October 22: The film 'Karaoke Murder' combines elements of detective work and comedy. At the film's premiere, Van Dung attracted attention when she shared details about the romantic scenes she filmed with Thanh Son.
The karaoke murder film, directed by Hoang Le and with Vo Thanh Hoa as creative director, had its premiere on the afternoon of October 21st, featuring actors such as Doan Thien An , Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia , Van Dung , Thanh Son, Tieu Bao Quoc, Phuong Dung, Trinh Thao, Quynh Ly, Ta Lam, and Tuyen Map.
At the event, Van Dung shared about the romantic scenes with Thanh Son, admitting that she couldn't help but feel nervous when trying out a role that was completely different from her familiar image on screen.
"Acting alongside a handsome actor like Son, my hands and feet were trembling. Normally, I only play feisty roles, I've never had the chance to play such a romantic role," the actress shared.
Van Dung revealed that she didn't even dare rewatch the clips with scenes alongside Thanh Son because she worried that her acting wasn't natural, her expressions were exaggerated, or that it wouldn't be appropriate standing next to her co-star. However, the reaction from her friends surprised the actress. "It's been decades since we've seen Van Dung this sexy," she recounted the comments from close friends after watching the clips.
Regarding Thanh Son, the actor said that neither of them had fully grasped the scene when they first read the script. In particular, the mountain scene was also the first scene the two sisters had filmed together.
"I was under a lot of pressure that day; I had to jump straight into the character before I even had a chance to get into character. I hope this scene will leave a lasting impression on viewers when they watch the film," Thanh Sơn expressed.
