Venezuela's Maduro rejects US accusations of drug smuggling

Buenos Aires [Argentina], November 3: Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has rejected allegations by the US government that his country is involved in drug trafficking.
"Venezuela is innocent. Everything that is being done against Venezuela serves only to justify a war and regime change and to rob us of our immense oil wealth," said the leader.
For several weeks now, US forces have been attacking speedboats off the coast of Venezuela suspected of smuggling drugs into the United States. (DPA)
