Hanoi [Vietnam], April 22: Many Vietnamese celebrities such as Viet Huong, Le Huynh, Truong Quynh Anh, Minh Tu... took the time to congratulate the film 'Blood Moon Feast 8' directed by Phan Gia Nhat Linh.
On the evening of April 21st, the premiere of the film " Blood Moon Feast 8" was held in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting many Vietnamese celebrities such as: artist couple Viet Huong and Hoai Phuong, actor Le Huynh, singer Truong Quynh Anh, singer Thieu Bao Tram, actress Le Ha Anh, supermodel Minh Tu...
The film Blood Moon Feast 8, directed by Phan Gia Nhật Linh, is a remake of One Cut of the Dead, a film that was a box office phenomenon in Japan. The film revolves around a director who is looked down upon and even labeled as making "trashy films" ( played by Vân Sơn ). Not only does he face pressure from his profession, but he also confronts estrangement from his own daughter (Lâm Thanh Mỹ) due to prejudices surrounding his filmmaking style.
To prove his abilities and regain his son's trust, he decided to undertake the most ambitious project of his career: shooting a 35-minute film with a single take. However, the filming process was constantly thrown into awkward situations as the cast kept causing mishaps, resulting in chaos and hilarious moments behind the scenes.
The film "Blood Moon Party 8" brings together a cast including Van Son, Quang Minh, Hong Anh, Le Khanh, Hua Vi Van, Miu Le, Lien Binh Phat. Besides the domestic stars, the film also features South Korean actor Kim Kang Woo. This is also a rare occasion for the actor to try his hand at the comedy genre.
The film officially premieres on April 24, 2026.
