Jul 23, 2026

YouTube king MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) officially married content creator Thea Booysen in a private ceremony. The event was attended by only about 70 guests, mostly family and close friends of the couple, E! News reported on July 22nd.
True to their status as one of the world's most influential content creators, MrBeast and Thea Booysen recently held their wedding on Necker Island (UK), a famous private island spanning nearly 30,000 square meters owned by billionaire Richard Branson.
The private wedding of the world's most powerful YouTuber.
The wedding ceremony was the highlight after a week-long series of activities, starting on July 14th. Guests enjoyed various outdoor activities such as kitesurfing, snorkeling to admire coral reefs, and feeding the animals on the island.
On their big day, bride Thea Booysen (29 years old) wore a lace wedding dress from Nicole + Felicia Couture. Groom MrBeast (28 years old) chose a two-tone cream and black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren.
In an interview with People published on July 21, Thea Booysen emotionally shared, "It sounds cliche, but everything really felt like heaven."
Despite being famous for his large-scale videos and somewhat "crazy" challenges, MrBeast has long expressed his desire to have a private wedding after proposing to his girlfriend in December 2024. After years of living in the public eye, the YouTuber wants to keep this special moment just for the two of them, their family, and close friends.
"The wedding will definitely be family and friends-only, much more private. I rarely get vacations because I'm always busy with work, so I want the wedding to be an opportunity for us both to enjoy meaningful time with the people we love," MrBeast shared with People in January 2025.
