Zelensky says he'll meet Trump next week on sidelines of UN meeting

Kyiv [Ukraine], September 21: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he will meet with US President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Debate in New York, which starts on Tuesday.
There will be many bilateral meetings, including one with the US president, Zelensky told journalists on Friday, according to the news agency Interfax Ukraine.
Zelensky said he plans to discuss security guarantees needed by Ukraine from its partners and also address sanctions against Russia.
Zelensky also suggested that there could be a meeting between the two first ladies, his wife Olena and Melania Trump, to discuss humanitarian issues concerning children.
On Tuesday, around 150 heads of state and government will gather in New York for the General Debate of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
